Both open play and adult leagues are available. In order to participate in league members pay a league fee and non-members pay the same league fee in addition to a daily guest fee per visit. Members may reserve court time for open play at the front desk no more than one week in advance. Non-members are welcome but may not reserve court time and must pay the daily guest fee. Rental equipment is available at the front desk. Racquetball clinics are available to learn more about the game. Contact Nicholas for more information.

This tournament will be played at the Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA Gymnasium Saturday, March 14th with Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles. Registration Deadline is on Sunday, March 8th at 5:00, so allow time for postal delivery if you register with paper form. If registering online you will be asked to set up an account. Registration is limited so please register early to ensure your spot(s). This Tournament is a Round Robbin style. All matches will be the best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2 points. The director has the right to change the format if participation is too high to accommodate for time needed for tournament. If there is a cancellation, all players will be notified by Friday March 6th.
New this year an 8 week 3 on 3 basketball league will take place on Monday nights in the YMCA gym. This league is open to individuals high school age an above. Teams of 5 can register as a team or register as individuals and be placed on a team. Modified rules are in place and can be viewed at the YMCA. Games will be 7PM - 8:30PM starting January 20th and running until March 9th with a league meeting taking place Monday, January 13th. Contact Nicholas for more information.
Sports are not just for the youth athlete at the YMCA! Shoot, Slap and Clear your way through the competition of our Co-Ed Floor Hockey league. The coed league is open to male and female players of all skill levels, ages 16 years and older. The goal is to enjoy some healthy competition and have fun doing so! Sign up with a team of friends and co-workers, with a small group and be kept on the same team, or by yourself and be placed on a team with other free agents! Contact Nicholas for more information!
Pickleball is a combination of Badminton, Ping-Pong and Tennis. Open Pickleball times are reserved on the gym calendars and included with membership. Join the fun Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for Open Floor Hockey, reserved on the gym calendars and included with membership. It is a great opportunity to learn the skills involved in the game and meet new people. Non-members are welcome but must pay the daily guest fee.
Open Soccer for members is an opportunity for adults to play indoors during designated gym time. Play is open and features use of the full gym and must be played in a ball control style.
If you are interested in a fast-paced indoor court game, then Wallyball may be your sport. This awesome game adds a whole new dimension to the game of Volleyball by incorporating the walls into play. Wallyball is not just volleyball played on a racquetball court it is a whole seperate game with its own set of rules and playing requires development of a whole seperate skill set. Wallyball is faster and as a result is harder to master but also more fun!
The Y offers open Wallyball on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from Noon - 4 PM. Please call ahead to reserve court time and request net to be set up.
