Enrollment/Joining Fee

The $50 fee is paid upon membership sign-up and will be charged only once per continuous membership. Those qualifying for a corporate membership (5 or more individuals from the same company) or an insurance company reimbursement program do not pay the joining fee.

Billing Policy:

Your membership charges can be paid in the following ways:

  • Automatic withdrawal on the 5th or 20th of each month from a checking or savings account.
  • Automatic debit on the 5th or 20th of each month from your credit card.
  • Advance payment by cash, check or credit card

Cancellation Policy

Should you choose to end your Y experience, please fill out a termination form prior to the 20th of the month. Failure to do so will result in membership charges for the next month. The $50 joining fee must be paid upon membership reactivation.

Guests

Guests are always welcome at the YMCA! All guests must present a photo I.D. and register at the front desk. Guests under the age of 15 must be signed in by an adult. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult at all times or enrolled in a YMCA program. The only exception is that children aged 7 – 9 may be in the pool area when a parent is in the facility.

The Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA participates in the Nationwide Membership program, which means members from any of the 2,700 participating Y’s across the country have the flexibility to use their YMCA membership at the Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA at no extra charge.
